The Chinese Opera Gongs, including Opera, Tiger, Hand and Fong Gongs, are traditional Chinese gongs that have a unique sound the world associates with Chinese Opera and other Chinese theater.
The front of the gong is distinctly forward from the outer rim of the gong. It is almost like two gongs in one, a front gong and a bigger back gong: two distinct tones tied together. This connection creates an ascending or descending sound. Often called “pitch-bending”, this up or down bend accelerates as the gong goes from one note to another, making the Opera Gongs a special experience.
The 8.5" Jin Ban Gong is perfect to hold in the hand, but also when you need a hand. It's style is similar to the pitch-bending Opera gong, in that the face is raised and the sound bends. But the face is a bit wider, so the pitch doesn't bend at such a feverish pitch. It's a more assertive and less shrieking call.
Sure to bring a hand to help, to hold, to high-five.

The 10" Opera Gong is extremely portable, which means it could be toted along while you are out strolling on the boulevard at rush hour. Give it a ring as a sort of siren's song to draw strangers into chatting, or toll it repeatedly to announce your position, allowing others to note your path and thus avoid collisions.
The pitch-bent fluctuating tone of the 10" Fong Gong can be used to alter your musings in the solo setting. Opening up paths your unconscious mind may have otherwise passed by. The dulcet yet cleansing tone of the gong also creates an expansive head-space in which your imagination can run wild.
Work it however you want it to work.

The 11” Opera Gong follows the Chinese Proverb that “Love for a person must extend to the crows on his roof.”
You would not think it, but the 11” Opera Gong can prove most handy in love and romance.
Wherever lovers' hearts beat, attempting to reach synchronicity, the Fong Gong can provide a way towards harmony.
For it is as Shakespeare (the Confucius of England) once said, in agreement with the Chinese proverb above, "The course of true love never did run smooth".
Sometimes paths are crossed without the knowledge that a lover has trod that very route.

The 12” Tiger Gong hangs on the Chinese Opera tree, which has roots going clear back to the third century CE. CE as in China Enlightened or Close Encounters or Centaur Enthusiast.
At any rate, this was when the Chinese started getting dramatic for fun! Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty decided to make the Chinese Opera more organized and founded Pear Garden for his amusement. (Yes, this is absolutely where our beloved orange drink of childhood, Tang, originates.)
Though the opera was mostly for the Emperor, the opera was for all and the Disciples of the Pear Garden used gongs, yes, you're catching on now, Opera gongs, to call the people to delight in the play and have a refreshing orange beverage.
Masked and dancing, the disciples banged gongs. Wowng! Wowng! Wowng! The pitch bending called one and all to relax, to enjoy, to clear their minds for something entirely new.
May the 12" Tiger Gong do that also for you.

The 13” Tiger Gong. Often people ask where the Tiger Gong got its sound and name. For the sound bends like no other.
One firm stroke and the gong cries, shrieks, sings. "Wowng, wowng, wowng."
Some say that this mimics the roar of the tiger. But actually, it mimics the sound of the creature the tiger fears the most: fearless, hungry babies.
(DISCLAIMER: Neither this gong nor hungry babies will protect you from actual tigers in the wild.)

These Chinese-made percussion instruments possess all the necessary qualities for taming the 'tiger' in your own forest of the night- be that forest literal or metaphorical.

The Chinese Wind Gong is fully lathed, leaving a bright, shiny finish. It doesn't have a rim; it is flat on the edge. This design gives the Wind Gong its splashy celebratory tone when struck with a quick fast attack. When tapped gently with a hard mallet, you will get a rich fundamental note that builds quickly to a crash with just a little bit of added power.
The 6" Wind Gong produces a clear, melodious bell tone making it perfect for piercing the void. It has been proven suitable for leaders of every stripe including classroom teachers. School-age children find the tone of 6" Wind gong quite entrancing and approachable. (Approachability- a great quality in a leader- and a gong.) Let's give the little leaders of tomorrow a leg-up by giving them a 6" Wind Gong. That's a Truth they can take home to Mother and her Void. Verily then, the Student will become the Master.

No, this does not mean you will become a squirrel or a fox or even a bunny with a fluffy bun on its bum. But you may feel a bit more calm inside and henceforth go outside where the bushy-tailed creatures may feel more safe to come and sniff around beside you. Once step closer to peace between all critters. That is what we hope gongs can do in you.

DON'T JUST SIT THERE, MAN! PICK UP YER 12" WIND GONG AND PLAY IT! You must! It is a world we have here, where some people live like they are statues, even if they are alive. But they are barely living art. They are controlled by fear, and desperation, hate and greed and violence... so what is left, where is the joix de vivre?!! Is the actor playing the statue, playing you?
"Cornstalks!" the enlightened Nebraskans are heard to exclaim as they shower in ethanol like it was water, "You've got to stop just standing there and instead sit there and nowhere at the same time, and meditate until you levitate, then you won't prevaricate, or flagellate or castigate!" This world of statues is a city-state that is barely more, quite honestly, than a columbarium, it is ashes through ashes, and it is filled with ash. You must fight against the vortex, even if you must wear Gore-Tex! Don't be vexed, it is like being over-sexed in a skintight vest.
AND THE BEST WAY TO WAKE YOURSELF UP IS A GONG!
Why not a 12" Wind Gong?!

Diametrically opposed, yet connected. Flying as one. Together honing a line of balance and communicating what they see through their trusty 16" Wind Gong with bright splashes beckoning a bright future before them and low throbs and rumbles reminding them of where they've been.

The 20" Wind Gong, what is it like?
Remember when you were 20? It was an age full of promise, poised as you were to be able to drink legally, seeing the world as your oyster, indefatigable in your dreams and drive. You were bright and sparky and in love with the concept of your promise. That is the 20" Wind Gong. The 22" Wind Gong, we all know what it does. Know how it sounds. It's the plain veggie burger. The 22" Wind Gong... We would call it a Zephyr, if it came from the West, but it comes from the East - unless you live in Vietnam - so we will call it an Easter! In fact, this gong will resurrect your spirits, if not your flesh, when you bang. Try it the next time you are crucified - not literally, figuratively. Bang a Wind Gong and you will cleanse out the Sadducees and Pharisees of your office or family! Or the Fallacies and Heresies! Or the Bee Gees and the Squeegees!

The 24" Wind Gong, for your consideration: In China, the word for wind sounds like Fong. A refreshing breeze is known as Ching Fong Chun Fong is a spring breeze. While Fong Ling is wind chimes. That is why you sometimes see Wind Gong described as a Feng Gong. Because Feng is the transliteration of the Chinese word for Wind. We could have written Feng, but it has been written Fung and Fong as well. So this solid 24" bit of deep shimmery sound, is the Feng, Fong, Fung Gong. And this one? Well, it's deeper. It's fuller. It's more complex than smaller Wind Gongs. But it's small enough to be managable. Ahhh, the Middle Way!

The 26" Wind Gong, also called the Feng Gong, based on the Chinese word for Wind, is of the Wind Gong family: meaning that it will crash and splash when struck with enough force. That crash and splash could be compared to the Wind. Hence its name. But also the 26" Wind Gong is where Wind Gongs begin to get enough weight that you can have them have a deeper tone and sustain. The 22" Wind Gong cannot do that. At 26", the Wind Gong will have greater depth, sustain, and complexity than at smaller sizes.

SEE BELOW FROM CUSTOMER WHO BOUGHT THIS GONG:
"Andrew, I must tell you the gong arrived late Wed evening. I was able to sneak it in without the birthday boy noticing. It was then wrapped up and hidden till the big day. Since I hadn’t peeked myself, I was curious as he was opening the box. As he wrestled with the bubble wrap…a little too slow for his [son’s] liking. It was then he yelled, "It’s a gong! It’s a gong!" Needless to say the unpacking became frantic. The look of surprise and utter happiness was priceless. He really couldn’t believe we actually got him a gong for his birthday. Something he had always wanted. And a good sized one I might add. Needless to say it has been a source of enjoyment ever since. I just wanted to share my story and thank you so very much for getting it out promptly. You were wonderful!!!"

It's all natural.

Bright toned and musical. Spank it lightly and it shimmers in your room to create joy. Similar to a Chau Gong, but lighter in tone, it is a gong for waking up students, waking up the Dead, and by that we mean the remaining members of the Grateful Dead from their naps, and for waking up wakeboarders, even, when the water is glassy and ready for riding.

In the 14" Chocolate Drop Gong we can clearly see a lustrous golden sheen akin to that of hazy sunlight through a fine vintage of whiskey, a drink for which the Irish have, historically, shown an affinity. While, in the center of this gong's shimmer, the "chocolate drop" perches as if it were a stray dollop of Guinness, a liquid of pure Irish lineage, or dare I suggest an "eye" on a potato. (No comment needed.)
While this gong is made in China, the bright tone it issues when played -- Fact: in general, the more lathed, the more shine, a gong displays, the brighter its tone will be -- is in keeping with a rough form of Irish calculus which, put simply is, the more whiskey and Guinness consumed, the more likely an Irishman will be to burst forth in bright and glorious ballad.

The 16" Chocolate Drop Gong is a feisty, medium sized gong. Its sound has depth, but some brightness and sparkle. The depth comes from the rim and inner circle of "chocolate" - which is really where the gong was not lathed. The bright parts are where they lathe the gong, like a cymbal, and take off the dark parts. The sparkle comes from the shiny part of the gong, for as it looks bright, it also sounds bright.

The 18" Chocolate Drop Gong. People ask us, Is the middle of the Chocolate Drop Gong really Chocolate? And we answer, Is Charlie Brown really brown?
If you consider his general emotional mood, yes, Charlie is. Hence, the center of a chocolate drop gong is as chocolate as you want it to be.
Chocolate if you mean that magnanimous flavor burst that hits your tongue when you eat some good stuff. Chocolate if you mean that chemical, hormonal rush that hits your brain from eating it. Chocolate if you mean that sonic rush when you hear a female jazz singer hit a spectacular silky melody.
Yes, the middle of the Chocolate Drop Gong is Chocolate.

You cannot get the 22" Chocolate Drop Gong anywhere else but Gongs Unlimited because we designed it with our happy gongmaker in Wuhan China.
Based on a Chau Gong, that is the bullseye design with a rim, we removed the outer ring. What this does is give you a bit more response and shimmer and splash. It is not a crash like a Wind Gong. It's more like a crash of the classic Chinese Chau Gong, but because we have had the outer ring area lathed, it has a bouncier, more lively tone, and faster response when you strike it.
Strike it lightly and you get gentle clean depth. Depth to exultant flourish in one gong.
And remember, men like Chocolate too.

Me? The name's Ten, Ten Inch Dark Star Gong. My Great Grand-Dad was Chinese somewhere in Asia. That's where I got the name Gong, but really, I was born somewhere in the universe that Einstein took some time off from living to describe. Me, I don't need to take time off, I just live. And sometimes to keep living life in the round, you've got to have secrets tucked away in your corner.
Mine is the complimentary mallet that I always carry with me. Use it and it won’t be long until you hear my song, my deep and clear note, which is more profound than my small diameter would lead you to think.

The 12" Dark Star Gong, a wonderful vision of what the future might hold.
Einstein finds it fit to use in ruling his hidden planet where meetings between the Emcees and the Squares are called to order through the use of a 12” gong. Operatives have taken to calling it the 12” Dark Star Gong.
They said it seems traditional for a mallet to be included with every gong and that the gong emitted a wonderful music. It would give voice to a deep, playful tone which seemed to issue from the bright spot of center lathing.
While we have not been able to determine if the original Einstein is still alive, we have seen the sounds of the 12” Dark Star Gong calm many a heated argument between the Emcees and the Squares.
It is our belief that this particular issue warrants further investigation.

The 16" Dark Star Gong is dark, but not too dark. Darkness... rich, smooth, textural darkness, piques your curiosity every day as you choke down your dark, black coffee.
"Too dark?" you wonder as you peer into the brooding, moody cave of wonder.
"No, just dark enough."
Reach out and tap, gently, on the shoulder of the gong that is the object of your affection, this dark star, and whisper, “They don't understand, but I do."
Take the hand of the Dark Star Gong and run, quietly into the night, to a place where you can both understand each other, where you can find the star at the heart of deep, dark space.
Travel down through the doorway into the darkness of the soul and find the light of understanding, the star of your affection.
No longer will you wonder, “What if?" when your Dark Star Gong arrives at your threshold with a 20 oz black coffee saying, "Yes, I'm yours. Yes, I understand you."

The 18" Dark Star Gong can handle both Dark and Light. If you can handle both, you will love this gong.
The dark star has deep brightness and heat and is filled with energy that can't be seen with our eyes, it lives in dark, but radar and infrared and other levels can feel it and show its light.
And that is what the Dark Star Gong is, it pulsates on levels you don't always see, but you can feel. How you react to the unseen light, versus the unseen darkness, is a good sign of how much you trust, versus how much you fear.
This is a great gong that gives you a lot of sonic flavors and overtones for its size. It is a gong that has power in its metal.

While the thickness of metal keeps the Dark Star Gong deep in tone, the lathing of the bronze in the center brings out an interesting musicality and flow. In this way the Dark Star differs from the Mother Tesla Gong, which stays moody and crepuscular. The Dark Star is a gong that gives you an adventure in space.

This listing comes with a set of 4 unweighted tuning forks, an activator, and a carrying bag.
Note: These tuning forks are made of aluminum, which is a soft metal, great for harmonics and sound healing. Because of this softness, you might find the occasional small mark or scratch. The fork isn’t damaged, nor is the tuning off. It can happen during packing by the manufacturer, or during shipping and handling. We provide safe storage and great care when handling them.
Based on the work of Composer Susan Alexjander and Biologist David Deamer, the DNA Nucleotide Tuning Fork Set is tuned according to C# as the pivot pitch or master tuner. Alexander and Deamer measured the vibrations of DNA using an infrared spectrophotometer in order to find the molecular frequencies of the four DNA nucleotides. These tuning forks are perfect for sound therapists and spiritual healers. Add them to your toolkit today.
The tuning forks in this set are tuned to correspond to the following DNA Nucleotides:
Guanine - 550 Hz
Adenine - 545.6 Hz
Thymine - 543.4 Hz
Cytocine - 537.8 Hz

This listing comes with one magic eGong Wand in the color of your choice.
The eGong Wand is much more durable than normal super ball mallets as it made from silicone rubber, which does not lose as much from the friction activity.
The eGong Wand makes it very easy to achieve a soft low note as well as very loud notes. It is sweet, wild, and abstruse, but surprisingly easy to use. And it's available in three vibrant, exciting colors.
Mallet Measurements:
Total Length: 9"
Head Length: 2.5"
Head Width: 1"
Weight: 1 oz
Important eGong Wand Instructions:
1. Hold the wand handle not too tight, not too loose between your thumb and forefinger with the eye of the "e" facing away from you.
2. Place the curve of the eGong Wand head against the face of the gong and drag in the similar way as a normal super-ball mallet. You need to find the right level of pressure for your particular gong.
3. Holding the handle lower and higher will alter the pitch. PLEASE READ THAT AGAIN. IT IS A USEFUL NOTE.
4. Keep the head of the eGong Wand clean. (Just like the head of other things.)
Cleaning is very simple. Just hold the head of the eGong Wand under a tap and rinse with a slow flow of cold or warm water for about 10 seconds twisting the head from side to side, if necessary, rub with your fingers to get off the dirt, and then just leave it to dry naturally.
IMPORTANT NOTES OF CAUTION:
Please do not use it on the front of the chrome Paiste Brilliant Gongs, but please do use it on the rear of Paiste Brilliant Gongs.
Please do not use it on the outer edge of Paiste Gongs as it is possible to leave a slight mark in this area. And the sound is often inferior on that outer ring area.
This listing includes one gong mallet.
Coming to you from the Advanced Percussive Sciences Lab of Unlimited Technologies, we present to you the Unlimited Epic Vintage Gong Mallet!
With a small-hard yarn-wrapped head and sturdy wooden handle, this mallet provides fast attack. With a gentle tap, it will bring you clean, deep notes with fast response. When played harder on larger gongs, you will discover pockets of bright overtones that expand over the top of the deep fundamental note.
This mallet is recommended for use on both Chinese and European style gongs from 18" to 30" in diameter. Add the Epic Vintage Mallet to your sound therapy and spiritual healing toolkit today!

This listing comes with hangable wind chimes.
The Fibonacci Sound Healing Wind Chime are designed and tuned to tap into the power of the Fibonacci sequence. In this sequence, each number is the sum of the two numbers before it. Each tube is tuned using the ratio of two progressive numbers from the sequence.
The tubes are aluminum, making them lightweight and clear-toned with long sustain. They are perfect for catching the breeze on your front porch or added to your sound therapy toolkit to accent your other instruments.
Please note: If the teak wood is exposed to regular moisture, its color will fade slowly. It is part of its natural process. In drier climates, the teak wood will take longer to show any signs of weathering.
The 8 Fibonacci Frequencies:
256 Hz

Important Tuned Healing Chimes Awareness Information
Sometimes these chimes will create more than one frequency. This is part of how metal of this size works. You get overtones. The main frequency will always be there. You can find this main frequency more easily when the chime is tapped gently.
Our chime maker tests these chimes within +/-0.5% accuracy. You cannot expect that with gongs usually.
Please note that it is at this level and cost, impossible to create chimes with 100% accuracy and no overtones.

The Unlimited Gou Gong (sometimes called a Hmong Shaman Gong) has a rich history and tradition of healing and being used as a medicinal tool. This gong is heavy and thick with a turned edge, producing warm tones that are clear and linear, with less spread and overtones than a traditional Chau or Wind Gong.
Gou Gongs produce a higher fundamental pitch with shorter sustain than other gongs. Their lower-volume sounds make them best suited for use in smaller ensembles and more intimate performance spaces. There is a small Unlimited logo printed on the back of the gong. Add one to your sound healing toolkit today!

Symbolizing creativity, maternity, fertility, and nurturing energy, the wisdom of the Great Mother both shelters and challenges and so meets the needs of the human spirit. The Great Mother is a creative force not only for life, but also for art and ideas. Thus we bring forth to you The Great Mother Tesla Gong!
Exclusive to Gongs Unlimited, the Great Mother Tesla Gongs are similar to the Mother Tesla Gongs that we have all come to love, but with a nipple! The raised bump in the middle, known as a bell or nipple, helps create a clear, beautiful tone when struck.
These gongs are unlathed. This is how the gong looks when it comes out of the oven. Most Chinese gongs have this color when they come out of their cast mold, but then are lathed to create different tones. With their unlathed exterior, these gongs maintain a deeper tone and do not crash like a traditional Wind or Chau Gong.

This listing comes with hangable wind chimes.
The Harmonic Sound Healing Wind Chime is designed and tuned to be in touch with the physical plane of existence of your body. The physical plane revolves around the 5 human senses and various parts of our physical bodies like the tissues, fluids, bones, and organs. Each tube is tuned to relate to a different state of consciousness and body posture. These chimes produce pure sounds and overtones for instant relaxation and self-centering.

This listing includes a traditional Chinese gong mallet.
Note: The gong in the photo and video is not the exact item you will receive, but an example of what that size and style usually looks and sounds like.
The Heng Gong has a deeper rim than other Chinese Gongs, and is a bit thicker in the bronze, but it is fully lathed like the Wind Gong. This creates a complex and marvelous mixture of sounds.
The smaller Hengs can have a bell-like purity to their tone when played with certain mallets, while the larger Hengs, 26" and above, are like giant lasers of sound, with focused harmonics and great presence. They are prized by musicians and sound healers.
There's a 12" Heng Gong in your future. With a solid clear tone and a warming expanse it reminds men and maids alike that they are made of perishable stuff and sound remains a mystery.
May it help to align your disparate destinies, bring them all into accord!
Many endings may be bittersweet, but there's real joy to be had in the journey. The 12" Heng Gong makes a perfect traveling companion.
