Based on the work of Composer Susan Alexjander and Biologist David Deamer, the DNA Nucleotide Tuning Fork Set is tuned according to C# as the pivot pitch or master tuner. Alexander and Deamer measured the vibrations of DNA using an infrared spectrophotometer in order to find the molecular frequencies of the four DNA nucleotides.
