BioESS60 is available in two concentrations:

• Regular: ~80 mg ESS60/ 100 ml (or 4 mg per teaspoon); stirred for at least two weeks

• Concentrated: ~160 mg ESS60/ 100 ml (or 8 mg per teaspoon); stirred for at least four weeks

Carbon 60, also known as C60, is quickly becoming one of the molecules in the world to optimize mitochondrial health and function, which is why it is one of the pillars in The Mitochondrial Triad. It is a super-antioxidant that mops up free radicals and powerfully quells oxidative stress, both of which play major roles in aging. It has been shown to have ~ 125 - 175x the antioxidant capacity when compared to vitamin C.

ESS60 is the pharmaceutical grade version of C60. Whereas C60 is utilized for industrial purposes, ESS60 is produced for human consumption.

ESS60 really came into the limelight with the scientific study that was done on rats that demonstrated those rats that consumed ESS60 combined into olive oil lived 90% longer than their counterparts that drank water (and had all other controlled variables the same). Not only that, when rats die they are commonly riddled with tumors. However, those rats that consumed the olive oil + ESS60 not only lived almost 2x longer, they had no tumors on their body when they died!

Top potential benefits of ESS60:

• Powerful antioxidant

• Improved mitochondrial function >> boosted energy levels

• Longevity & anti-aging effects

• Anti-inflammatory

• Better sleep

• Joint and pain relief

• Neuroprotective

• Boosted cognitive function

• Cardioprotective

• Detox and liver health

• Potential cancer-protective effects

• Boosted immune function

• Protection against non-ionizing and ionizing radiation (i.e., UV radiation from sun; non-native EMFs from wifi, Bluetooth, 5G, cell towers, etc.)

• Tissue regeneration and wound healing

• Potential antiviral properties

• Improved skin health (yes, this is the C60 we've been using in our Longevv creme for years!)

• Enhanced hair health

BioESS60 is our frequency-enhanced version of ESS60 (which is the highest quality of C60 for human consumption in the world; 99.99% ultra-high purity and solvent free) that is mixed in olive oil and astaxanthin oil. Per BioLight's unparalleled standard for quality products and supplements, both the olive oil and astaxanthin oil are also the highest-quality ingredients in the world (further discussed below).

BioESS60 is made in small batches and stirred for at least 2 - 4 weeks (based on the concentration outlined above) to ensure optimal suspension of the ESS60 in the oils. To further optimize the potency and effect of the ESS60, we utilize 432 Hz frequency for 9+ hours both before the ESS60 powder is added to the oil and to the entire batch of BioESS60 as the stirring nears its end. With ESS60's incredibly small size and being able to get inside all cells and even into the mitochondria, the implications of this healing frequency may permeate all of the cells in your body.

The potential benefits of enhancing the ESS60 powder with the 432-Hz frequency is to help reduce stress, increase concentration, promote deep states of relaxation and support all healing processes. Additionally, the vibrations of 432-Hz frequency can stimulate the release of endorphins, the body's natural "feel-good" chemicals. These endorphins can help reduce pain, boost the immune system, and enhance overall well-being.

Also, with ESS60's geometric shape and hollow structure, it acts as a carrier of other molecules and substances. This makes ESS60 an amazing conduit to help drive astaxanthin deeper into your body and cells than it otherwise would be able to!

Why is this important? Astaxanthin has been shown to be a powerful antioxidant, amazing for eye health, promotes supple skin, is heart healthy, supports liver health, boosts the immune system, is a brain health super-nutrient and protects metabolic health. Whereas a typical astaxanthin supplement can reach and help some cells, it can now penetrate and benefit virtually all cells in the body when combined with ESS60.

Quality of ingredients in BioESS60

BioBlue Capsules are the first encapsulated methylene blue supplement on the market!

With BioBlue Capsules, you no longer have to worry about stained teeth/tongue, clothes, countertops, luggage bags, etc. Not a fan of the "flavor" of methylene blue? That is now a memory of the past!

This supplement combines two of the most potent molecules to safely and effectively boost mitochondrial function: methylene blue and taurine. Learn about the profound benefits of both ingredients below.

BioBlue Capsules ingredients

• Enhancement of ATP Production - Methylene blue serves as an alternative electron carrier in the mitochondrial electron transport chain (ETC). It can bypass dysfunctional components in the ETC and facilitate electron flow, which increases ATP (energy) production, especially in cells with impaired mitochondrial function.

• Reduction of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) - Methylene blue has antioxidant properties and can reduce the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in mitochondria. Excessive ROS production can damage mitochondrial DNA, lipids, and proteins, leading to cellular dysfunction. MB helps minimize oxidative stress by acting as an electron acceptor.

• Prevention of Mitochondrial Dysfunction - By improving the efficiency of the electron transport chain and reducing oxidative stress, methylene blue helps prevent mitochondrial dysfunction. This is important for maintaining cellular energy levels, especially in tissues with high energy demands like the brain and heart.

• Protection Against Mitochondrial Damage - Methylene blue helps protect mitochondria from damage caused by toxins, ischemia (restricted blood flow), and metabolic stress. This is particularly useful in conditions that compromise mitochondrial integrity and function, such as neurodegenerative diseases and aging.

• Improved Cellular Respiration - By facilitating electron transport and improving the efficiency of the respiratory chain, methylene blue can enhance cellular respiration. This increases oxygen consumption in the mitochondria, which supports better metabolic performance and energy utilization.

• Neuroprotective Effects - Methylene blue has demonstrated neuroprotective effects, in part by improving mitochondrial function in neurons. It is being studied for potential benefits in treating neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, where mitochondrial dysfunction plays a role in disease progression.

• Protection Against Mitochondrial Permeability Transition - Methylene blue can help prevent the opening of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore (mPTP), a channel whose opening leads to mitochondrial swelling, dysfunction, and cell death. By inhibiting mPTP, methylene blue supports the longevity and resilience of mitochondria under stress.

• Promotion of Mitophagy - Methylene blue may also stimulate mitophagy, the process by which damaged or dysfunctional mitochondria are selectively removed. This helps maintain a healthy population of mitochondria within cells, promoting overall cellular vitality and function.

Taurine

• Prevention of Mitochondrial Dysfunction - Taurine can help prevent mitochondrial dysfunction by reducing oxidative damage, maintaining proper ion balance, and enhancing energy production. Mitochondrial dysfunction is linked to a range of diseases, including neurodegenerative diseases, diabetes, and heart conditions.

• Antioxidant Properties - Taurine acts as a potent antioxidant, reducing oxidative stress in mitochondria. This is important because mitochondria produce reactive oxygen species (ROS) as by-products of energy production, which can damage cells if not properly managed.

• Regulation of Calcium Homeostasis - Taurine helps regulate calcium levels within cells and mitochondria. Proper calcium balance is essential for mitochondrial function, as calcium overload can lead to mitochondrial dysfunction, energy failure, and cell death.

• Improved ATP Production - Taurine enhances mitochondrial efficiency in producing ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the main energy currency of the cell. This is vital for sustaining energy-demanding processes throughout the body, especially in tissues with high energy needs like muscles and the brain.

• Mitochondrial Membrane Stabilization - Taurine contributes to the stability and integrity of the mitochondrial membrane, which is crucial for maintaining the electrochemical gradients needed for ATP synthesis. It also protects against mitochondrial permeability transition, a process that can lead to cell death.

• Anti-Inflammatory Effects - Taurine helps reduce inflammation, which is important for protecting mitochondria from inflammatory damage. Chronic inflammation can impair mitochondrial function and contribute to diseases like cardiovascular and metabolic disorders.

Contraindications & Precautions for Methylene Blue

Contraindications:

1. G6PD Deficiency: Methylene blue is contraindicated in individuals with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, a genetic enzyme disorder. Using methylene blue in individuals with this condition can lead to hemolytic anemia, a potentially severe breakdown of red blood cells.

Methylene blue is quickly becoming a highly sought after supplement in the health, wellness, longevity and biohacking worlds due to its many health benefits, highlighted by boosting both mitochondrial function and brain health.

BioBlue Calm is a blend of six herbs and minerals combined with pharmaceutical grade methylene blue (USP >99.5%) to help promote relaxation and a sense of calm. This recipe includes all of the same ingredients as our flagship BioBlue product minus nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN). We decided to remove NMN because while is not a stimulant, it can be stimulating to our physiology given its properties for improving mitochondrial function and energy production.

Between the removal of the NMN and the addition of:

• Ashwagandha

• Valerian

• Passionflower

• Kava

• Magnesium glycinate

• Magnesium L-threonate

...BioBlue Calm functions as a "weighted blanket" for your brain and your nervous system, providing a physiological tranquility in times of stress, anxiety and/or when falling asleep is difficult.

All of the above herbs and minerals contribute to reducing cortisol levels and improved GABA activity in the brain. This alone promotes a deep sense of calm.

Ashwaganda root (Withania somnifera)* - Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb that has been used for centuries in traditional Ayurvedic medicine to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. Ashwagandha helps promote calmness by reducing cortisol levels, enhancing GABA activity in the brain, reducing inflammation and contributing as an antioxidant and neuroprotection.

Valerian rhizome w/ root (Valeriana officinalis)* - Valerian root has been used for centuries as a natural remedy for promoting relaxation and improving sleep. Valerian helps promote calmness by enhancing GABA activity in the brain, modulating serotonin receptors in the brain, modulating adenosine receptors (which promotes relaxation and sleepiness) and reducing cortisol levels.

Passionflower flowering aerial parts (Passiflora incarnata)* - Passionflower has a long history of use as a natural remedy for promoting relaxation and reducing anxiety. Passionflower helps promote calmness by enhancing GABA activity in the brain, modulating serotonin receptors in the brain, contributing as an antioxidant, reducing cortisol levels and modulating of neurotransmitters, such as dopamine and noradrenaline.

Kava rhizome w/ root (Piper methysticum) - Kava is a plant native to the South Pacific islands, where it has been used for centuries in traditional ceremonies and as a beverage with sedative and anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing) effects. The relaxation-promoting effects of kava are primarily attributed to its bioactive compounds, particularly kavalactones. Kava helps promote calmness by  enhancing GABA activity in the brain, modulating of neurotransmitters (i.e., dopamine and noradrenaline), reducing cortisol levels, relaxing muscles and promoting reduced inflammation and antioxidant activity.

Magnesium glycinate -  is a form of magnesium that is chelated with glycine, an amino acid. This compound is often used as a dietary supplement to address magnesium deficiency, and it is also known for its calming and relaxation-promoting effects. Magnesium glycinate helps promote calmness by its improved absorption (compared to other forms of magnesium), regulation of neurotransmitters (such as GABA), modulation of the HPA axis (which helps reduce cortisol levels), relaxing muscles, regulation of the nervous system (i.e., reducing excitability), reducing inflammation and promoting restful sleep.

Magnesium L-threonate -  is a form of magnesium that is bonded with L-threonate, a compound derived from vitamin C. This specific formulation is notable for its ability to effectively penetrate the blood-brain barrier, leading to increased magnesium levels in the brain. Magnesium L-threonate helps promote calmness by enhanced GABA activity, modulation of NMDA receptors (i.e., reducing hyperactivity in the brain), protection against excitotoxicity, reducing inflammation and enhancing brain function and synaptic activity.

Colloidal gold - Produced by electrolysis that insures highest quality, homogeneity and stability. This method results in a high-quality and well-dispersed colloidal gold product with the highest zeta potential (a high zeta potential indicates that the particles have a strong electrical charge). On top of improving cognitive function, colloidal gold offers additional benefits, such as reducing inflammation, boosting the immune system, reducing aging and improving skin and hair health.

Colloidal silver - notorious for its anti-microbial properties and commonly used for wound care and skin health, colloidal silver also provides anti-inflammatory benefits, strong immune support and has some potential for respiratory support.

Fulvic acid -  known to raise the voltage of your cells, we added the purest fulvic acid in order to enhance the absorption of the ingredients. This means that the methylene blue and NMN may be taken up and better utilized by your cells and tissues. Fulvic acid has other beneficial properties, such as being a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and promotes improved gut and skin health.

BioBlue (SR)

Smooth. Stable. Sustained.

Where clarity meets energy — at the mitochondrial level.

BioBlue (SR) is our most advanced mitochondria-focused formulation — engineered for calm, sustained, and stable energy throughout the day. It features a clinically thoughtful combination of USP Methylene Blue and USP Leucomethylene Blue, supported by NMN, Taurine, Fulvic Acid, and trace bioactive colloidal minerals, all suspended in Litewater® Deuterium-Depleted Water (10 ppm) for the cleanest mitochondrial signal possible.

Unlike standard methylene blue formulas (which often spike and crash), BioBlue (SR) is designed for smooth, steady-state redox support, where your cells can produce energy efficiently, cleanly, and consistently.

Why “SR” (Sustained Release)?

BioBlue (SR) combines two forms of methylene blue:

This dual-phase redox pairing helps maintain redox equilibrium, providing a more stable cellular energy experiencecompared to single-form methylene blue products.

No spikes. No overstimulation.

Just clear, stable, grounded vitality.

What Sets BioBlue (SR) Apart

Most methylene blue supplements:

❌ Use industrial/aquarium-grade dye (containing contaminants)

❌ Rely on regular purified water (normal deuterium = metabolic drag)

❌ Lack synergistic ingredients to support full mitochondrial function

❌ Create energy spikes, overstimulation, or uneven effects

BioBlue (SR) is different:

✅ 100% USP Pharmaceutical-Grade MB + LeucoMB

✅ True dual-form redox stabilization for calm, steady energy

✅ NMN + Taurine to support cellular repair, membrane integrity & cognitive flow

✅ Fulvic acid for enhanced absorption and cellular conductivity

✅ Litewater® Deuterium-Depleted Water (10 ppm) for stronger mitochondrial efficiency

✅ No fillers, no preservatives, no alcohol, no glycerin, no flavoring

Purity designed with purpose. Performance guided by biology.

BioBlue (SR) provides a beautiful 50/50 blend of MB and leucoMB so you get a combination of the instantaneous high-octane benefits of leucoMB and the more 'delayed' benefits of MB as it is broken down in your body and, thus, providing a sustained release mitochondrial-boosting blue molecules!
